¡Holi Preciosidades!

¿Cómo estáis cosas guapas? Gracias a los diferentes eventos a los que he asistido he conocido a muchas chicas como yo, con un blog y muchas ilusiones. Estoy muy agradecida de haber encontrado a personas como ellas. A parte de poder compartir mil y una ideas sobre cosas como posts, outfits o vídeos, nos meamos de la risa con cualquier tontería que decimos. Son unas chicas tremendamente graciosas.

How are you? Due to the fact that I have assisted to a few of events, I have met a lot of girls just like me: with a blog and many delusions. We are always talking of many things, some days, we just talk about post ideas, outfits or videos, but most of the time we are laughing of every single thing. I just love them!

El otro día fui con ellas a un mercadillo vintage de segunda mando. Bueno, esa era la idea principal, pero acabamos en el Hard Rock Café hablando de galletas con fibra y consejos de la abuela que son mano de santo. Para este plan tan espontáneo partí de un look básico que nunca falla: blue jeans, White t-shirt. Este conjunto clave no puede faltar en vuestro fondo de armario, es ideal para todos aquellos días en los que quieres ir perfecta y tienes la inspiración por los suelos. Como he dicho, partí de esa base y la modelé un poco. En vez de ponerme un vaquero básico, me puse un mom jean y, en vez de elegir una camiseta básica blanca, opté por una blusa blanca semitransparente.

The other day, we went together to a vintage thrift shop. Well, that was the principal idea, but we end up at the Hard Rock Café talking about digestive cookies and grandma tips! For this spontaneous plan, I started from a basic look: blue jeans, white t-shirt. This is a must have on your wardrobe girls! So, as I have just said, I started from this basic look but I gave it a different touch. Instead of a basic jean, I choose this destroyed mom jeans and, instead of a basic t-shirt, I put on this white blouse.

Para incorporar al look algún toque en tendencia, le di un aire un poco boho con este semi recogido tan simple y con las botas estilo cowboy que ya os enseñe en el post anterior. En un primer momento, había pensado en ponerme mi bolso de ante con flecos, pero al final me decidí por este otro. No se vosotras, pero creo que todas tenemos ese bolso que, antes de tenerlo, soñábamos día y noche con él. Pero que, una vez en tus manos, te lo pones muy poco. Pues este bolso es uno de ellos. Hace un par de años, le di la tabarra a mi madre para que me comprara este bolso y no le estoy sacando todo el partido que se merece. Es un bolso muy recargado, de piel negra, ante con print de leopardo y cadena dorada. Hay que tener mucho cuidado con este tipo de bolsos, lo ideal es combinarlos con outfits muy simples como el que os enseño en el post de hoy. ¿Qué os parece?

As I wanted to give to the look that little trendy touch, I styled this boohoo half-up half-down hairstyle and my cowboy boots. At first, I wanted to put on my fringe handbag, but then I thought about this bag. It’s been a long time since I don’t wear it. I don’t know about you, but there are somethings in my wardrobe that I have wanted them so bad and then when I had them I had no idea how to combine them. So this handbag is the perfect example, it has leopard print on it and its chain is golden. So outfits like the one I’m wearing today it’s perfect!

¿Qué tal estáis? ¡Yo soy feliz! ¿Por qué? Porque ha salido el solecito (basta que lo diga para que empiece el mal tiempo otra vez jajaja). Por las mañanas hace un tiempo estupendo, sobre todo al medio día que pega un sol impresionante. Aunque tengo que confesar que por las tardes a veces hace un poco de virusqui. Ya empieza la cuenta atrás en la universidad, me explico: un mes para los exámenes. Y a eso se le suma la inmensa cantidad de trabajos que tengo que hacer, bueno, que ESTOY haciendo jajaja.

¿How you doing? I’m very happy! Guess why! Because it’s sunny outside!! Sun shines in the morning, but I have to say that in the afternoons it’s a little bit cold. Count down has started and when I say that I mean that there’s only one month left till exams. Ou! And I have to do a LOT of works for uni.

El otro día llegó mi madre a casa con un peto blanco estupendo al que yo ya le había echado el ojo. No os voy a mentir, vi el peto y me volví la niña más feliz del mundo (adelante, llamadme materialista pero yo soy feliz). Como al día siguiente hacia un tiempo estupendo, decidí estrenar mi peto nuevo. Ese día se me ocurrió que podía intentar juntar muchas tendencias en un solo outfit. Soy la primera que intenta nunca hacer eso por el simple hecho de que es muy peligroso: recargar un look de tendencias puede quedar muy mal. Pero ese día me sentía inspirada y el resultado fue bastante acertado.

The other day, my mum arrived home with the white denim overall I wanted. I’m not gonna lie, I was the happiest girl in the world when I saw it on my hands! As the next day was sunny, I decided to wear it. For this day I tried to set as many trends as possible in one single outfit. I am the first one that says that it is better if you don’t do that, just because it’s very easy to do it the wrong way. But I was feeling inspired and the result was awesome!

Combine el peto con una blusa azul bastante voluminosa. La blusa, aparte de ser tendencia por su aire hippie, también lo es por llevar los hombros al aire. ¡Ojo con esta tendencia que pega fuerte! Este tiempo es ideal para llevar una de mis combinaciones preferidas: botas con falda. Esa es la razón por la que he combinado el look con unos botines estilo cowboy. El bolso de flecos le da el toque final.

I combined the denim overall with a flowy blue blouse. This top part is trendy because of its flowyness and also because it shows the shoulders. Attention to this trend because it’s rocking it lately! This weather is ideal for wearing boots with skirts, that’s why I put on this cowboy booties. The fringe handbag gives the final touch!

¿Qué me decís de este tatu? Voy a aprovechar para contar una de mis grandes frustraciones. Para inspirarme, suelo mirar it gils y bloggers de otros países, sobretodo de UK y USA. El problema es el siguiente: muchas de las modas que llevan estas chicas en las que me fijo, tardan AÑOS en llegar a España y aún más a Mallorca. Os pongo un ejemplo rápido: hace unos tres o cuatro años que me empecé a fijar en los pantalones de tiro alto y largos, no fue hasta el año pasado que los pude encontrar en una tienda en Palma. Pues lo mismo me ha pasado con este tipo de tatus, hace unos dos años se pusieron de moda entre las celebrities y me enamoré. Bueno pues no ha sido hasta este año que he encontrado estos tatus por Palma. La primera vez que los vi fue en Parfois y no los compré porque el precio me pareció un poco exagerado, casi 8 euros por medio folio de diferentes tatuajes. Tuve la suerte que uno0s días después, paseando por Palmanova, vi en uno de los chiringuitos los mismos tatuajes ¡por solo 3 euros! ¡Una ganga!

What dou you think about this tatu? I’m gonna explain one of my big frustrations. When I want to inspire myself, I see bloggers and it girls. Most of them are from the UK and the USA. And I have a problem, most of the trends or clothes that they were are not available here in Spain. So is not after a few years that those trends arrive here. That’s what happened with this tatus. I saw them on celebrities two years ago, and this year is the first time I see them in Mallorca. I saw them at Parfois for almost 8 euros and I thought it was expensive, that is why I didn’t bought them. But a few days later I saw them again at a stand at Palmanova for 3 euros so it was a nice deal!

FELICES PASCUAS

¡Holi Preciosidades!

¿Qué tal estáis? ¿Cómo van las vacaciones de Pascua? A mí no me están gustando mucho. Obviamente, me encanta estar de vacaciones y prefiero esto a volver a la universidad (porque en un mes o así empiezo los exámenes), pero es que hace un tiempo horrible. Yo ya quiero que haga solecito, que se pueda ir en manga corta por la calle, ¡me quiero despedir del abrigo! Voy a parar de quejarme, porque es mentira cochina que no me gustan estas vacaciones. Me lo estoy pasando muy bien, no hay día que no salga de casa. ¡Pero si hiciera sol podría ir a la playa!

How you doing? And how are this holidays going? I’m not having a lot of fun. Obviously, I love being on vacation over going to uni (just because of the fact that I have exams in one month or so), but the weather is awful! I want sunny days, summer clothes and saying goodbye to coats! Well, let’s stop complaining. Because I am really enjoying this holidays, I am always out of home with my friends.

Hoy os enseño un outfit muy de mi rollo. Para dar luz y auto convencerme de que ya no es invierno, he combinado dos piezas de la misma tela en color blanco. De esta manera, parece que llevamos two matching pieces o un vestido. He atado una camisa roja de cuadros a la cintura para realzar la figura.

Today I’m showing you an outfit that’s really my style. As I want to convince myself that it isn’t winter, I combined two pieces of the same color and cloth. In this way, it looks like you are wearing two matching pieces or even a dress! I’ve tied a plaid red shirt on my waist to give volume to my figure.

Como he dicho antes, me quiero despedir de los abrigos, así que he elegido una chupa de cuero negra y me la he puesto encima de una chaqueta negra de chándal (así voy calentita). Me encanta combinar botas con falda, por eso he elegido mis botas de color granate estilo Doctor Martens.

As I said before, I just want to say goodbye to coats, so I have chosen this black leather jacket and I put it over a black hoodie. I love wearing skirt with boots, so I put on my boots that look alike the Doctor Martens one.

¡Qué alegría volver a hacer un post! Y más cuando no es un post normal y corriente, hoy os voy a hablar de Dolores Promesas. El pasado jueves, asistí al tercer aniversario de esta maravillosa franquicia y a la presentación de su nueva colección. Si quedé impresionada con la amabilidad con la que nos trataron, todavía me quedé más impresionada con cada una de las prendas de la tienda. Al entrar, sentí que estaba en el armario de una princesa o en el de Blair Waldorf, cada uno de los rincones de la tienda era único.

I love being here writing a new post! And this is not a normal post, today I am going to talk about Dolores Promesas. Last Thursday, I went to the third anniversary of this franchise and to the presentation of their new collection. I was amazed with all the workers and also with every single piece of cloth. Every corner of the shop was a masterpiece!  

Para esta ocasión, decidí ponerme el legging más cómodo del mundo que descubrí por casualidad en el armario de mi madre. Es de tiro alto y parece una malla. De verdad que es como no llevar nada, ¡qué maravilla! Lo combiné con una de mis camisas preferidas, muy ochentera, ¿verdad? Para agregar alguna de las tendencias de esta primavera, me puse un cárdigan negro con flecos muy cortos. En cuanto a los complementos, me decanté por mi sombrero negro de Forever 21 para darle un toque más personal. ¿En los pies? Mis botines de tacón con mucha plataforma, ¡son tan cómodos que parece que voy en deportivas!

I chose for this occasion a pair of the most comfortable leggings in the whole world. I found them at my mum’s wardrobe. They are super cute and high-wasted. Amazing! I combined them with one of my favorite shirts, so from the 80’s, isn’t it? I wanted to wear something trendy, so I put on that beautiful black cardigan with little fringes. I also put my casual black hat on and this pair of chunky boots.

¡Holi Preciosidades!

Siempre he sido muy torpe. Recuerdo a mi hermano decir cuando yo era pequeña “O te caes tú, o se cae lo que llevas en las manos”. Nunca he escondido mi torpeza, de hecho me encanta contar anécdotas. Como aquella vez en que mi abuela, que me llevaba en brazos, tropezó con unos escombros e hizo que yo me deslizara por el suelo hasta chocar contra la pata de una cama con la cabeza;  o aquella vez en la que terminé pasando por un TAC por darme (otra vez) con la cabeza contra un mármol. De mis miles de caídas y golpes siempre he salido ilesa, como mucho un arañazo, nada más. Tal vez siempre haya tenido un ángel de la guarda protegiéndome, pero se ve que mi “ángel de la guarda” se ha ido de vacaciones. El otro día me di un trompazo en la cabeza (de una de las maneras más estúpidas que existen en el mundo y que por eso no voy ni a mencionar) y terminé en urgencias con una contractura cervical. La verdad es que cuando el doctor me dijo lo que tenía no le di importancia porque yo soy tan dramática que me esperaba un traumatismo craneoencefálico o un hematoma cerebral (sí, aparte de torpe soy una exagerada). No tardé ni una hora en darme cuenta de lo molesta que era esa ‘’simple’’ contractura cervical. No puedo mover el cuello, ni levantar los brazos, no podía (ahora sí porque estoy mejor) levantarme sin marearme. Y eso, queridos amigos, para una persona que habla con las manos, para una persona que no para quieta, para una bailarina, es una tortura. Como acabo de decir, estoy mejor, pero el dolor no se va y me quedan un par de días de reposo… ¡ah! Me paso el día medio drogui por la cantidad de pastillas y relajantes que me tomo. ¡Toda una maravilla!

I’ve always been very clumsy. I remember my brother saying when I little ‘there are two options: you falling or the thing you are holding falling’. I am not ashamed of my clumsiness, in fact, I love telling anecdotes! I remember the time when I fell from my grandma’s arms or the time I hit my head on marble. From my thousands of falls I emerged unscathed, but this time was different. A few days ago I hit my head in a very ridiculous way (I’m not even going to tell it) and now I have a cervical contracture. When the doctor told me what did I had, I didn’t worry. I am very dramatic and I thought I had a head injury or a brain hematoma. It didn’t take me even one hour to realize how awful it was that ‘simple’ cervical contracture. I can’t nearly move, I can’t do anything! And this, for someone who talks with her hands, for someone who is always moving around, for a dancer, is a torture. I have to say that I am much better now that I’ve spent a few days at home without moving and having pills. 

Yo, aunque no lo parezca, pienso mucho y me como la olla mucho. Y si el simple hecho de estar una semana sin poder mover el cuello me ha traído tantas incomodidades,  molestias e impotencias no quiero ni imaginarme toda aquella gente que, de la noche a la mañana, se ve esposada a la cama de un hospital o a una silla de ruedas. Y es que a veces, necesitamos un pequeño golpe  para darnos cuenta de que debemos apreciar las pequeñas cosas de la vida (sí, suena típico, lo sé, pero es cierto). Porque lo mío no ha sido nada, pero allá fuera hay gente que tiene dificultades hasta para levantar un lápiz. Por eso hoy hago un llamamiento a la humanidad (bueno humanidad, a aquellas personas que sacan un ratito al día para leer este blog) para decir que apreciéis cada momento, cada segundo, cada acto que hagáis, apreciad hasta el poder respirar, porque habrá un día que ni podamos hacer eso.

Believe it or not, I think a lot. And if for the simple fact of being a week without moving my neck I am so upset and angry, I can’t even imagine that people who, from one day to another, is fettered to the bed of a hospital o to a wheelchair. Sometimes we just need a little stroke care to realize how important small things of live are (that’s typical, I know, but it’s true!). because my cervical contracture is nothing, but there are some people who can’t even move a pencil. So I want to make an appeal to the humanity (humanity? To the few but wonderful readers of this blog) to say that you have to appreciate every single move you do, every single action, every breath!! Because there will be one day that you won’t be able to do that.

¿Qué profunda me he puesto no? Jajajaja Después de esta pequeña reflexión, vamos a hablar del outfit de hoy. Afortunadamente, ha salido el sol (aunque no lo podáis apreciar bien en las fotos) así que ya se puede ir con menos capas de lo normal. Me encanta llevar prendas anchas en la parte de arriba y más si son masculinas. Estoy hablando del estilo boyfriend. Para todos aquellos que no sepáis de que estoy hablando, el estilo boyfriend se basa en robarle la ropa a tu novio y ponértela con un toque más femenino. Como yo boyfriend pues no tengo, le robo la ropa a mi querido padre (un beso papi) y el efecto es el mismo jajaja. Hoy le he quitado del armario esta camisa blanca básica.

Wow! What a reflection! Hahaha let’s talk about today’s outfit. Fortunately, it’s sunny this days so you can wear less clothes on. I love wearing oversized and masculine clothes. That’s the boyfriend’s style, it’s basically stealing your boyfriends clothes but with that feminine touch. I don’t have a boyfriend, so I steal the clothes to my father (hey daddy!). Today I stole from my daddy’s wardrobe this white shirt.  

Mi intención era mantener el look muy neutro pero alejándome de los colores oscuros, así que he combinado la camisa blanca con un pitillo en menta suave (casi parece blanco). Le he dado el toque de color en los complementos: el cuello, el pipo y las botas. La cazadora, en caqui oscuro, le da un toque más informal al look.

My intention was keeping the look neutral, so I put on this fair mint trousers. I gave the touch of color with the accessories: the scarf, the pair of boots and the beanie. The caqui jacket gives that informal touch.

VIENTO POR AQUÍ, VIENTO POR ALLÁ

¡Holi Preciosidades!

¿Qué tal el fin de semana? Me da la sensación de que hace mil años que no hago un post jajajaja. Últimamente estoy bastante feliz y motivada. Y aún más ahora cuando ha venido de Francia una de mis mejores amigas (me atrevería a decir que para mí es como una hermana mayor). Además parece que el tiempo está mejorando y ha salido el solecito (aunque hoy hace mucho viento… todo hay que decirlo jajaja). Vamos a ser positivos, ya queda poco para el veranito (a veces soy demasiado positiva).

How was your weekend? It’s been ages since my last post! Lately, I’ve been so motivated and happy. And even more now that one of my best friends (I dear to call her sister) has come from an Erasmus at France. Furthermore, the sun is shining this days (but today is very windy hahaha). Let’s be positive! Summer is almost here (sometimes, I am too positive…).

Como acabo de decir, hoy hace mucho viento, por eso en vez de optar por una falda de vuelo, he elegido esta falda pantalón. Es perfecta porque aunque pegue fuerte el viento, ¡no se ve nada! El toque de color del outfit está en el crop top. Tenéis en un posts anterior una entrada entera dedicada a este tipo de prendas. El que llevo hoy es de un rojo llamativo y con cuadros negros.

As I was saying, today is very windy, that’s why I put on a skort instead of a skirt. It is perfect, because no one will be able to see anything! You know… hahahaha. I gave that touch of color with this crop top (I have a hole post talking about crop tops previously). The one that I am wearing today is plaid.

Para darle ese toque personal al look me he puesto este pipo negro y muchos complementos en plata (no sé por qué siempre llevo los anillos y las pulseras en plata jajajaj). No nos olvidemos de una buena bufanda para no pillar un resfriado (hay que estar siempre sano) y un abrigo que nos guarde del frío.

I wanted to give that little personal touch, so I put on a black beanie and a lot of silver accessories (I have no idea why I always wear silver instead of golden accessories hahahaha). Don’t forget your big scarf and a warm coat!
